VMS is the voice of physicians in the state and is dedicated to advancing the practice of medicine by advocating on behalf of Vermont's doctors and the patients and communities they care for. Its mission is to serve the public by facilitating and enhancing physicians' individual and collective commitments, capabilities, and efforts to enhance the quality of life for the people of Vermont through the provision of accessible and appropriate health care services. Members are physicians Active, Retired, medical students or physicians in residency programs. Membership: $525 (Regular); $200 (Affiliate); $100 (Associate); Free (Life Members/Students/Residents).
