Formerly (1967) United States National Committee, International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage and (1984) United States Committee on Irrigation, Drainage and Flood Control. USCID, a not- for-profit professional organization, is the U. S. national committee of the International Commission on Irrigation and Drainage, mission is to foster sustainable, socially acceptable and environmentally responsible irrigation, drainage and flood control systems and practices for providing food, clothing and shelter to the people of the United States and the World. It also provides a forum for multidisciplinary discussion on issues related to irrigation, drainage and flood control. Membership: $100 (Individual); $85 (Associate); $60 (Senior); $20 (Student); $350-$2,900 (Organizational); $1700 (Life); $50 (Young Professional).
