United Association for Labor Education

Formed as a result of the merger between the Workers' Education Local 189 and the University and College Labor Education Association, assumed its current name in 2000. UALE's mission is to promote and encourage the development of labor and worker education, to make labor education accessible to all working people, and to promote collective bargaining and the right to organize. Members are institutions with labor education programs and individuals with an interest in labor education. Membership: $35- $150 (Individual); $250-$1,000 (Institutional); $200 (Sustaining).
