Established as the Heavy Specialized Carriers Section-Local Cartage National Conference, SC&RA became the Heavy Specialized Carriers Conference in 1959 and assumed its present name in 1981. SC&RA's mission is committed to advocate, educate and provide networking opportunities to support the industry in operating safely, legally and profitably around the world.
