Founded as the Texas Association of Episcopal Schools. In 1970 Episcopal schools in Louisiana and Oklahoma joined with Episcopal schools in Texas to form Southwestern Association of Episcopal Schools. The mission of the SAES is to lead, to nurture, and to unify Episcopal schools in order to advance educational excellence within the faith community of the Episcopal Church. Membership: $560-$6,705 (Schools based on "hard" income).
