Ski Club International Des Journalistes

Ski Club International Des Journalistes

The Ski Club International des Journalistes (Scij) was formed in 1955, in Méribel-les-Allues, France. The idea for the international ski club for journalists came from the Frenchman Gilles de La Rocque and the Swiss Marcel-A. Pasche. International groups, with representatives from across Europe, and as far away as Australia, Israel and Canada, have been meeting ever since to exchange ideas and indulge a love of the mountains.
