Research!America is a not-for-profit public education and advocacy alliance working to make research to improve health a higher national priority. Its mission is to gain public awareness of the benefits to humankind of medical research and to build a strong base of citizen support for more research into cure, treatment and prevention of physical and mental disorders. Membership: $1,200-$8,600 (Academic Institutions/Hospitals, Independent Research Institutes depending on research funding); $600-$15,000 (Business, Industry depending on annual sales); $500-$7,500 (Voluntary Health Agencies, Patient Advocacy Groups); $500-$6,000 (Professional Societies, State, Local Organizations, Trade Associations, Coalitions depending on annual revenue); $1,200-$8,600 (Academic Institutions, Hospitals, Independent Research Institutes depending on annual funds).
