Formerly Fiber Fuels Institute. The Fiber Fuels Institute later merged with the Association of Pellet Fuel Industries and formed the Pellet Fuels Institute. PFI is a North American trade association promoting energy independence through the efficient use of clean, renewable densified biomass fuel. Members are manufacturers of pellet and briquette fuel, suppliers and others. Membership: $2,000-12,000 (Pellet fuel manufacturer); $1,500 (Supplier); $5,000 (Supplier Gold); $3,000 (Supplier Silver); $500 (Associate).
