Louisiana Association of Independent Colleges and Universities is a consortium composed of the 10 independent (non-public supported) colleges in Louisiana. Performs collective government relations functions before boards and commissions of higher education, state and federal agencies, the state legislature and U.S. Congress. Membership: pro-rated according to size of institution (Independent non- profit, two-year or four- year college or university) and also has to be approved for membership by the Board of Directors of LAICU.
