League of Kansas Municipalities

The mission of LKM is to unify, strengthen, and advocate for the interests of Kansas municipalities to advance the general welfare and promote the quality of life of the people who live within its cities. It operates as a public agency and is defined by state law as an instrumentality of its member cities. Membership is based on a charge based on population and a charge based on assessed valuation, added together to comprise the base charge for each city.
