International Association of Chiefs of Police

Formerly (1895) the National Chiefs of Police Union, (1898) the National Association of Chiefs of Police, (1902) the Chiefs of Police of the United States and Canada. IACP's purpose is to advance the science and art of police services and to develop and disseminate improved administrative, technical and operational practices and promote their use in police work.
