Information Technology Industry Council

Formerly (1962) Office Equipment Manufacturers Institute, Business Equipment Manufacturers Association ((1973)), and Computer and Business Equipment Manufacturers Association (1994), ITI represents providers of computers, business and telecommunications equipment, software and services. It acts on domestic and international issues that affect the high-technology industry and also serves as the Secretariat for the American National Standards Institute Committee, Information Technology (X3). ITI engages in a broad range of issues, some of which include: corporate tax reform, trade, telecommunications, cybersecurity, energy efficiency, workforce and STEM initiatives, regulatory compliance, accessibility and environmental sustainability.
