CropLife America (CLA) is the national trade association that represents the manufacturers, formulators and distributors of pesticides. Its mission is to advocate and promote the responsible use of innovative, safe and environmentally sound crop protection technologies that protect public health, the environment and biodiversity, and are essential to the global production of safe, affordable and sustainable food, feed, fiber and renewable or alternative energy. Member companies produce, sell and distribute virtually all of the active compounds used in the crop protection chemicals registered for use in the U.S.
