Founded as the Automotive Parts and Accessories Association changed its name in to the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association in 1999 and assumed its present name in 2014. ACA encompasses all products and services purchased for light and heavy duty vehicles after the original sale including replacement parts, accessories, lubricants, appearance products, service repairs as well as the tools and equipment necessary to make the repair. Members are manufacturers, distributors, retailers and manufacturers' representatives who market automotive replacement parts and accessories and services.
