Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies

AABS formed to promote research and education in Baltic studies (history, literature, linguistics, social sciences). Since 1991, it has been a constituent member of the American Council of Learned Societies. Membership is open to anyone wishing to support AABS endeavors. The association works towards its goal by sponsoring meetings and conferences, supporting publications, sustaining a program of scholarships, grants, and prizes, and disseminating news of current interest in Baltic Studies. Membership: $25 (Student and Baltic); $35 (Emeritus); $60 (Regular); $500 (Patron); $65 (Family); $100 (Sponsor and Institutional); $2,000 (Life).
