Formed by a merger of the Association of Rehabilitation Centers (founded in 1952 as the Conference of Rehabilitation Centers and Facilities) and the National Association of Sheltered Workshops and Homebound Programs (founded in 1954). AMRPA is a trade organization dedicated solely to the interests of Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals and Units (IRH/U), outpatient rehabilitation centers, and other medical rehabilitation providers. Membership dues: $3026-23,720 depending on staff salary range.
