American Association of Community Colleges

Formerly (1972) American Association of Community and Junior Colleges (AACJC) and assumed its current name in 1992. AACC is the advocacy organization for community colleges. Its mission is to build a nation of learners by advancing America's Community Colleges. It supports and promotes its member colleges through policy initiatives, innovative programs, research and information and strategic outreach to business and industry and the national news media. Membership: $735 (Educational Associate); $1,380-69,900 (Institutional); $105 (Individual Associate); $1,650 (Lifetime Individual).
