Founded as National Male Nurses Association and assumed its current name in 1982. The purpose of AAMN is to provide a framework for nurses as a group to meet, discuss, and influence factors which affect men as nurses. Membership: $100 (Full RN); $50 (LPN/LVN Associate/Retired/Transitional RN); $30 (Student); $350-$2,500 (Corporate); $25 (NSNA Nursing Student); $15 (High School Students); $180 (Two Year Full RN); $500-$1000 (School/Chapter Package).
